Message What should I focus on if my rpm slightly dips before rising when I give it gas? I have read a bunch about the TPS (due to idle issue) but did not see this as being a symptom of unadjusted/faulty TPS.
Next.... when z is warm it will sometimes idle around 1200/1300 rpm. With some luck & patience it sometimes settles to normal. I have read a slew on this as well.... anything other than vacuum/boost leak, IACV or TPS I should focus on? Throttle cable is not too tight, jwt pop is clean, brand new NGK's.
Finally.... smoke on deceleration. Only happens when car is hot and I have been boosting (which leads me to think turbo oil seals). More details is that it happens worst in 3rd gear while slowing down or coasting, with foot completely off the gas. No smoke at idle or under load/boost.... just decel/coasting when hot. Have not performed compression test but motor fires right up and "feels" healthy. Couple side notes are I am running downpipes, testpipes, no egr, aiv and tb coolant bypass done. My oil cooler is NOT hooked up (I am not sure how the forced induction system works/behaves with no oil cooler). Also have leaking resonators :(
Any and ALL insight is appreciated.
